A Better Answer mp3

Once you have made your entry post it on youtube and email the link to:
aba@guitararama.co.uk together with a few words about yourself and your approach to your entry.

This is what Stephen Dale Petit says:

"The song started out as a John Lee Hooker kind of thing, and the chorus and title 'A Better Answer' came first. With that as the hook, I looked at all sorts of topics for the verses. I wanted to avoid protest song cliches, so I decided to write about what was on my mind that day.

"The video takes advantage of the medium in that you can cover a lot more ground topically than a written narrative allows. In this instance the video DID mention the war, financial meltdown, commercial overkill etc. It is also meant to be a demonstration of how the internet can subvert mainstream media, which used to have a monopoly on the information people were given.

"Somebody somewhere has gotta have a better answer. What problem do YOU think deserves a better answer? Put that in your video. What solution do think is a fob off? Put that in your video. What is a glaring and obvious omission in the general news scrum? Put that in your video. Use the song as a soundtrack to YOUR message.

All The Best
Stephen"
